Sunday Humour

Once a week it seems not a bad idea to introduce a bit of humour, with a message possibly.  I thought I would follow up my ‘Great ideas’ script with this.

Sometimes Transition feels a bit like this. (You won’t get this point unless you click on the link!). 100% of us know how to diet but only 2% do it. 100% of us know how to reduce our carbon footprint but only 2% do it.

And of course, not only do most of us not do it but it is also someone else’s fault that we don’t.

After all, we are trying to get the point across, aren’t we?

And we have changed our routines, we buy Waitrose Organic Hair Gel for our son Gemini.

Because we do know that there are some serious problems ahead. (N.B. last pic)

Now you need cheering up after grimly laughing at everything (I hope):
Here’s a quiz.1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.

2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.

3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.

4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.

5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.

The lesson :The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the
Most credentials, the most money…or the most awards.

They simply are the ones who care the most. Great ideas, getting your point across, changing routines, they are all nothing compared to caring, for each other, and our one and only planet.

Pass this on to those people who have either made a difference in your life,
Or whom you keep close in your heart, like I did.
